Learn about chemical solutions.

Solutions

Solutions explains the components of a solution before showing the steps involved in and factors influencing solution formation. After learning terms describing concentrations, students analyze the various ways in which solution concentrations are calculated and how concentrated solutions are diluted. Students learn difficult concepts with the help of animations while sample problems guide students through determining solution concentrations and colligative properties. These concepts are reinforced in the interactive lessons.
